How To: you can book a house move service with us over the phone, by email or by completing our online form. You will need to provide some detailed information such as the type of property (house or flat), the number of rooms, the floor it is on (both moving from site or collection site and moving to site or destination), etc…. This will enable us to provide you with an accurate quote at no cost.

Planning Your Move

in the event that you do not have a parking space at your property and there is not one close by your property, our agents will have to pay in a Pay & Display parking space. You will need to arrange the payment of that parking charges on site. If you are not present, you will need to arrange their reimbursement at the destination with any additional parking charge should they do the same at the destination place. You will need to have your items all packed and ready for collection before the agents arrive as they will start the loading process as soon as they have finishing dealing with the parking matter of the van.

Preparation / Dismantling

Should there be any dismantle service needed, please make sure you mention it on your booking as our movers will only deal with instructions the receive from our operators. They will wrap all items in blankets that are not in boxes and bubble wrap all sensitive items (such as tv monitors and that kind of stuff) and add blankets too before placing them securely into the van. Note that boxes should not be heavier than 20 kg.

Make sure that all your belongings are properly packed as we cannot be held responsible for damaged items due to incorrect packing done by you.

Should you need assistance with packing (including the delivery of packing materials), just specify that during your booking process.

DURING TRANSIT

ETS movers will deliver your possessions to the provided destination address by taking the best/safest route possible. We use GPS systems to track our vans and provide a live ETA during the movers journey.

Important: Please note that we are unable to transport pets and/or any hazardous goods, so we always advise customers to take pets themselves where possible. If you have hazardous goods, you will need to contact the relevevant local authorities to ensure you comply with the applicable regulations for those goods.

ARRIVING AT YOUR DESTINATION

We will need you or someone you trust to be at the delivery address to assist our movers with access to the premise and provide proper instructions. A parking space near the property would be ideal, otherwise the same principle mentioned in the 'Planning' section applies.

Our movers will carefully unload the boxes and furniture, then place them in the rooms they are instructed to send them. Should you wish assistance with unpacking your belongings, make sure you mention it during the booking process.
